When your day is full or your pet needs to be somewhere safely, our Happy Trails Pet Taxi makes life easier. We provide reliable, stress-free transportation so your pet can get to vet appointments, grooming, day care, or home without any hassle.

Our service doesn’t stop at transport — we also offer pop-in service for pets who need a little extra care during the day. Whether it’s feeding, fresh water, medication, a bathroom break, or a quick cuddle for reassurance, we make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

At Happy Trails, dogs enjoy a calm, family home environment where they are treated as part of the household, alongside my own friendly dog, Henry.

My priority is to provide a safe, relaxed, and structured home-from-home experience tailored to each dog’s individual needs, routine, and temperament.

My standard and most commonly offered service is Signature One-to-One Boarding.

This provides your dog with a fully exclusive stay in my home alongside Henry, ensuring a calm, predictable, and highly personalised environment throughout their time here.

This option is ideal for dogs who:

• Prefer a quiet, low-stimulation environment 
• Are new to home boarding 
• Need consistency and routine 
• Are happiest with one-to-one attention 

Your dog will enjoy:

• A structured home routine based on their normal schedule 
• Daily countryside and forest walks 
• Access to a large, secure garden 
• Full supervision and companionship 
• Regular updates so you can stay connected

This service forms the foundation of Happy Trails and is always my default offering for new dogs.

Once a dog is known to me and settled in my care, I may occasionally be able to offer a carefully considered shared stay with one other compatible dog.  This is not a group environment and is only ever offered where I am fully confident that both dogs will be calm, well matched, and comfortable in each other’s company.

Shared stays are suitable for dogs who:

• Are relaxed and sociable in home environments 
• Have previously shown good behaviour around other dogs 
• Can settle calmly indoors and alongside others 

Even in shared stays, your dog will continue to receive:

• Close supervision at all times 
• A structured daily routine 
• Countryside and forest walks 
• Secure garden access 
• Consistent, attentive care in a home environment 

This option is always offered on a case-by-case basis and is never guaranteed.  Your dog is my priority and I am always happy for you to choose whichever service you feel is the best fit for your pet.

All new dogs are invited for a meet and greet before their first stay. This allows me to ensure your dog feels comfortable in the home environment and helps establish the most suitable boarding arrangement .  Bookings are confirmed following assessment and are subject to availability.  A calm, family home where your dog’s comfort comes first—and every stay is thoughtfully tailored.

Cats are not boarded, as they are generally happiest in their own familiar surroundings. I offer dedicated home visits instead, including feeding, litter tray cleaning, companionship, and welfare checks while maintaining their usual routine.

Every dog in my care is treated as part of the family in a calm, structured home environment. One-to-one boarding is always available as my standard service, and many clients prefer to continue with this.  Where a shared stay may be suitable, I will always discuss it with you first — your preference and your dog’s comfort are always central to any decision.

Whether your dog is staying on a fully exclusive basis or is later considered suitable for a carefully matched shared stay, the choice is yours and the focus always remains the same: comfort, safety, routine, and genuine care.
